Cross Country
The Antrim International Cross Country, an IAAF Cross Country Permit meet, takes place in Belfast on Saturday.

The Kenya Armed Forces Cross Country Championships take place in Kahawa on Saturday.

Three pro-level races are in Spain on Sunday: the Cross Ciudad de Castellon in Castellon, the Cross Internacional Memorial Juan Muguerza inElgiobar, and the Cross Memorial Jesús Luis Alós in Heusca.


Indoor Track
Professionals
While mostly a high school meet, there are a few pro-level races in the New Balance Games, to be held on Saturday in Manhattan’s Armory Track Center. The headliner is Jen (Barringer) Simpson, making her return to racing after nearly a year off.

Let's Run preview

Two mainly college meets will have some pro stars using them as tuneups: the Princeton Relays will showcase decathlete Ashton Eaton, and Michigan's Simmons-Harvey Invitational will include UM alum Nick Willis.

The Energie-Kugelstoß-Indoor, an all-shot put meet, takes place on Friday in the German city of Nordhausen.

A "Springermeeting" (a jumps-only meet, not a Jerry Springer fanfest) will take place on Friday in the German city of Wuppertal.

The NHI Perch’formance, a stop on the pole-vault only Perche Elite Tour, takes place on Saturday in the French city of Villeurbanne.

The Gubernator Cup takes place on Saturday in the Russian city of Volgograd.

The Jablonecka hala 2011 takes place on Sunday in the Czech town of Jablonec nad Nisou.


Colleges
The headline meet of the weekend is on Saturday, when LSU travels to Texas A&M for a dual meet. The computer rankings have both schools' men’s and women’s teams rated #2 and #3 in the country; my dual-meet rankings have both the Aggies' men's and women's teams at #1.
