On to the 200 meters.
Men
Gold - Tyson Gay (USA). Just flat-out better than anyone else
Silver - Usain Bolt (Jamaica). Has split his four meetings with Spearmon and appears to be peaking better.
Bronze - Wallace Spearmon (USA).
Women
Gold - Allyson Felix (USA). Has only run the 200 three times this outdoor season, as she's dabbled in other distances. Undefeated and showing good form at 100 meters and great form at 400.
Silver - Sanya Richards (USA). Has only lost to Felix, and just set a big 100m PR.
Bronze - Veronica Campbell (Jamaica). Lost to Felix and Richards in Sheffield a few weeks ago, but then thrashed Torri Edwards in London. No one else could touch her.

You may be right about Felix, she is tough. But in the last race with Campbell where she thrashed the field, if the wind reading had been good, that time would be fantastic. I believe if Veronica runs an excellent curve which she looks great at the last couple of races, then the others will have to run her down to beat her. I think she is going to peak at the world champs. Also, if she is to run like that 22:05 or 22:08 that she did in the Olympics of 2004, then she will be hard to beat. I think she can do it. Despite all of Felix's exploits she has never come close to 22:05. Richards will not beat Veronica. She has done well in a few races but Veronica is more conditioned than her for this race. Veronica is fully fit and she is peaking for the world's.
